The overall objective of the Project is to counter disinformation and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) in Georgia through the whole of society approach and audience-centric effective strategic communications.
Throughout the project, GRASS together with its partners has studied the European experiences of detecting and analyzing Foreign Information Manipulations and Interference (FIMI). The project has also resulted in setting up joint monitoring methodologies and repository that aimed at fine-tuning coordination and information sharing among consortium members. GRASS also studied EU’s legislative and policy initiatives that are aimed at tacking FIMI and disinformation. Moreover, the project resulted in doing reverse research, highlighting how information operations are implemented in Georgia and what are the most frequent tactics, techniques, procedures and sources that are involved in FIMI in Georgia.
