The goal of the proposed project was to promote trust and confidence between Abkhaz and Georgian stakeholders to discuss trade and other conflict related issues in a status-neutral way. Specifically, the project had 2 major objectives:
(1) to contribute to developing a sustainable communication channel between Abkhaz and Georgian stakeholders;
(2) to promote “Peace Initiative - Facilitation of Trade Across Dividing Lines” to Abkhaz stakeholders;
