David Aprasidze

David Aprasidze is professor of political science at Ilia State University. He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Faculty of International Law and International Relations and received his PhD degree in political science from the University of Hamburg. He has expertise in higher education management. At different times, he was dean, head of administration and vice-rector at Ilia State University. He has worked for Georgian public agencies and international CSOs operating in Georgia. He was a research fellow at the Institute for Peace Studies and Security Policy, Hamburg, Germany during 2000-2004. He was awarded Fulbright scholarship to conduct research at Duke University, North Carolina, US in 2009-2010.
