On April 4th at Tbilisi Marriott Georgia’s Reforms Associates (GRASS) held the presentation of research“ Alternatives to Durable Housing Solutions: Privately Accommodated IDPs in Georgia, within the project in the framework of the project “Developing Policy Recommendations on the Durable Solutions for the Phase III IDPs”. The presentation was attended by The Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, Mrs. Nino Chavchavadze and representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations.

The presentation was focused on the problems of the IDPs living in the private sector with regard to long-term solutions in order to solve the existing problems and obstacles and the consequent/appropriate recommendations were issued.

The project was implemented in the framework of The East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) Policy, Advocacy, and Civil Society Development in Georgia (G-PAC) Program, funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The research wasconducted by the generous support of the American people through the USAID.
