Integration of the Abkhaz Community in the Europeanization Processes of the Black Sea Region’s conflicts

The project aimed at further promoting confidence building between Abkhaz and Georgian interlocutors by bringing together young experts/scholars/practitioners from Sokhumi and Tbilisi, as well as from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova and Romania. The project examined Black Sea area countries’ (Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Russia) relations with the European Union as well as EU’s role in promoting conflicts settlement process in the Black Sea area. During the project, through planned activities it was analyzed how the ongoing Europetanization process in the Black Sea region applies to the conflict regions and what positive effect it could have on the conflicts resolution.

Project was implemented by the Georgia’s Reforms Associates (GRASS) with the support of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and Robert Bosch Stiftung.
