Protecting women’s rights in Pankisi in domestic disputes by raising their awareness and strengthening council of elder women

Project aimed to increase women’s legal status in Pankisi gorge, strengthen women’s council and its role in Pankisi community by providing essential legal/procedural knowledge. In the framework of the project, women living in Pankisi were helped to solve family disputes (not by „adat”, but by state legislation) and in court proceedings.
