Training Course for Journalists on the Conflict of Abkhazia, Georgia

This project aimed to raise the awareness and knowledge of journalists in the conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia. Within the program a number of lectures were conducted, which had focused on three main modules:
- Introductory history of Abkhazia and the current social-political situation;
- Negotiation framework and conflict resolution;
- Recent events, IDPs, and international organizations.
Following the trainings, a trilingual study course–in Georgian, Abkhazian, and English, was designed and distributed in educational institutions of Georgia.
