The Georgian-Slovakian research aims to expose and analyze the disinformation disseminated during and prior to the 2020 parliamentary elections in both countries. The aim of the research is to identify actors which are most active in producing and spreading disinformation during the election campaigns, to analyze their channels, narratives, techniques, and targets, also to measure the overall scale and impact of the disinformation in the context of the elections.
The research was published within the project “Slovak and Georgia fight against disinformation: building up civil society and development capacity in the state, local and regional government”, supported by the Slovak Agency for International Development (Slovak AID).
