This project aimed to reduce the effects of anti-Western disinformation and tackl the lack of digital literacy as a precondition of vulnerability to electoral disinformation. Specifically, the project sought to:
• Providing facts about the positive impact of EU membership on the personal well-being of the target audience.
• Managing expectations and showing the realistic perspective and timelines of EU accession.
• Equipping the target audience with skills and knowledge of identifying and verifying electoral disinformation.
• Showcasing how different disinformation tactics are used to manipulate their opinion (CIBs, AI, etc.)
• Motivating the target audience to get more involved in the fight against electoral disinformation
The project resulted in the following outputs:
-20 videos on EU benefits
-10 videos on voter education
-15 digital posters on EU benefits & Voter Education
- 1 social media challenge
