On May 2012, 2017, one of the smartest viruses ever was disseminated on 230,000 computers in more than 150 countries. The is a ransomware virus, meaning that it first blocked all files necessary for the operability of computer and then demanded USD 300 or USD 600 as a ransom in the form of bitcoin (electronic currency), to let the user re-gain access to the computer.
